Tuesday,
October 11, was full of activities. The day began with
the Chapter Meeting hosted by Chapter Coordinator and
Vice-President Rex Thorne.
"Destroy Your Computer
Problems" seminar was hosted by DESA webmaster Pat
Stephens with over 20 in attendance.
Opposite this seminar was the First Timer's Orientation which
introduced newcomers to DESA and the convention. The
orientation was led by board member Earl Johnson.
The
Noon hour began the Ladies Auxiliary Luncheon. This
years theme was "Pajamas & Slippers Party". Many,
indeed, dressed for the occassion and a great time was had by
all.
In the
afternoon, events continued. Presented by board member
George Amandola, the Membership Recruiting Opportunities
meeting was very successful in teaching ways to recruit new
DESA and Chapter members.
After a
full day of activities, convention goers were able to relax.
The men enjoyed "Liberty Night" and "Ladies Night Out"
brought the women together for cocktails, snacks and bingo.
