"DE 440 was transferred to the Portuguese Navy on loan in 1957 and renamed NRP Corte Real F 334.
This photo was taken in
March 1961 while sailing towards Plymouth, England, after the "dawn breeze"
NATO exercises. After 3 days in Plymouth she returned to Lisbon, Portugal, her home port."
