USS DARBY DE 218

"This photo was taken in 1962 and published in a booklet that we were given upon
our return home from Cuba. We were on the Windward Island patrol,
stopping ships bound for Cuba. The blockade was part of President Kennedy's
wanting all ships in that area checked for missiles".
