My Father, Ernest Ardell Anderson, served aboard the USS Farquhar, DE-139. He passed away recently, and I'd truly appreciate any possible photos. We're in the process of cataloging his photos, and I'd be happy to share any we find that may be of interest here.

My father served aboard the Swearer DE 186 from Dec. 1944 to Nov.1945. His name was James Pedersen. He had a quartermaster rating and I believe spent most of his time in the wheel house. I have a few photos of his and would be glad to share them. I would greatly appreciate any any photos that someone might send my way.

Anyone that might have a period(40's) photo of sick bay on any DE, it would help in the restoration of sick bay on the Slater being as authentic as possible! I have a few that I am going by. But, the little things can improve it that much more!

I am looking for a clear, detailed photo of the full starboard side of the USS Brumby DE-1044 (later became FF-1044). The full-length photos posted online are blurry and not good quality.
