commissioned. I stayed aboard until 2 March 1944 doing convoy duty in the Atlantic. After transferring to the Eisner, DE-192, in New York on 1 March 1944, I continued convoy duty in the
Atlantic until 7 June 1945 when I was transferred to various shore installations for further sonar schooling and was duly discharged from Bainbridge NTC on 3 February 1946." |
