For our fallen comrades aboard USS FOGG DE-57 and LST-359

A Mariner's Psalm

I will lift up my eyes over the angry sea; where is my help?
My help comes from my Captain who made the heavens and the sea.
He will not let my ship stray off course.
He will not sleep at the helm.
He is on duy all through the night watch.
My Captain is your protection too.
He is the gentle cloud that protects us from the blazing sun.
He is the guiding star at night.
My Captain will steer us through the gathering storm.
He will keep us from being swept overboard.
My Captain shall guide us through the channel as we sail.
He will bring us to the snug harbor at the end of the voyage
When we drop the hook for the last time, secure in the lagoon of His love.
