HMS HOSTE K 566
"This is a painting Dad did of Hoste lying to anchor in a fresh breeze.
I think it's somewhere off Anglesey in North Wales, maybe the Corsewall light, but certainly,
it's blowing a good force 5 or 6. There's strong wind against tide, hence the choppy sea,
but she is tide-rode (the tide is stronger than the wind) as the anchor cable is slackish
while the wind is blowing the pennants and smoke from the stack in an opposite direction".
