"Look what happened to our old ship! It was transferred to the Mexican
Navy shortly after the war ended. Last I heard it was still in service.
Amazing! Our crew was going to hold a reunion aboard the ship with the
blessings of the Mexican Navy but the ship burned out a bearing so was unable
to meet up for scheduled reunion."
