I have no information about this photo.  Perhaps it was a meeting prior to the
signing of the Instrument of Surrender of Ponape.  Obviously, this photo was not
taken topside where the Surrender Ceremony was conducted.

The USN officer on the left, his back to the camera, appears to
be Captain Momm, division commander on HYMAN
