In 1946

 Photos submitted by Billy Joe Crawford RM 3/C.  Enlisted in the Navy in late 1943, at 16 years of age.  Attended boot camp at Sampson, NY and radio school at Bedford Spring, Penn. Went aboard DE-577 mid-1944 at NOB Norfork, Va. and served on board until the end of 1945.  Discharged in April 1946.
